I have a terrible habit of falling in love with every city I visit. I think it’s because I grew up in a small mountain town and cities still thrill me with all their people, buildings, and scenery. It was no different when I visited Charleston, South Carolina for the first time. I loved the city! Charleston was nothing like I imagined or had seen before. Sure, being near the ocean was nothing new, and being in the south is now common to me (I live in Tennessee now), but Charleston still stood out. And this was due to how colorful the city is.

The city is surrounded by colors, from the blue of the Atlantic Ocean to the rainbow painted houses along the streets to the vibrant spring flowers that were in full bloom during the April weekend I was in town.

Check out some of the beautiful, vibrant scenery found in Charleston!
